The Mission...Help serve the Homeless of Tucson with Breakfast Burritos & Blessings!
About Anna...Anna was born and raised in the heart of Tucson. She was raised Catholic and witnessed a strong family/community upbringing. Your traditional American family; mom stayed home raising the 5 children (4 boys and Anna) and her dad worked hard but always had time to volunteer. He taught catechism at St. John's Catholic Church and volunteered with PIO Decimo, a resource center.
Anna currently volunteers with Hope of Glory Ministries. Her past volunteering was with God's Vast Resources Food Pantry and Southern Arizona Meals on Wheels. "Seeing people in need has given me a heart to give back to those in need and my community." You can definitely say volunteering is in the family blood. Anna is a wife, mother of 3, and 4 grandchildren. When she is not volunteering or feeding the homeless, she enjoys daily walks, staying fit, traveling and spending quality time with friends and family. The Vision...For a long time Anna has had a passion of giving back to her community and providing the homeless of Tucson with food and resources! Tucson is where she calls home and every day is witnessing the despair in her community. It breaks her heart to see the hopelessness in them.
In order to fulfill our Mission a lot of prayer, planning and commitment went into acquiring our food trailer, putting together the essentials, donations, volunteers and connections with the community. We plan to feed the homeless a good breakfast on certain Friday's & Saturday's starting the fall/winter season of 2022 and then continue when available throughout the year. We will try to keep you as updated as possible. We want to bring hope and an abundant blessing to the homeless we serve in Tucson!
